What is Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)?

The PDT process for each Aldershot client is basically the same. The skin is prepared and a solution, called Levulan, is topically applied to the skin. It is left on the skin for an incubation period. The solution is absorbed by the targeted lesions and a light then activates the solution which destroys the targeted cells. When used in conjunction with the blue light we can target the sebaceous glands and bacteria responsible for acne

The treatment takes approximately 60-90 minutes to complete and you can expect some redness, peeling and flaking of the skin for 3-4 days. While under the light source you will feel some warmth. It is important to know that you will need to stay indoors for 24 hours following the procedure. The solution applied to your skin remains active for this period of time.

Was really impressed by the professional staff and the results of my treatment. It was my first time trying laser therapy, and they made me feel at ease throughout the process. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their skin.

BTL EMSELLA is a new service now being offered here, and if you are someone like me who has lived her life with too many bathroom breaks, I would recommend giving this treatment a try. I have dealt with a sensitive bladder for most of my life, and to say the least, this has been inconvenient. I was getting up at least once a night and whenever I was out looking for the closest washroom. When I heard about this treatment being offered, I decided to give it a try. Six sessions over 3 weeks. Nothing invasive or painful. My experience so far has been liberating in that I am no longer having an interrupted sleep and can wander the mall for a few hours before scoping out the nearest washroom. In my opinion this has been totally worth it.

the BEST laser hair removal ever. I am so happy with my results, it has genuinely changed my life. I had issues my whole life shaving and getting insane irritation, but after a few sessions here my hair barely grows anymore. and it’s been about a year since I’ve had any treatments- still barely any hair growth. I went to a different med spa first and had 8 laser hair removal sessions which did nothing to reduce my hair growth. Then came to this clinic and i saw results after my first session. i’m telling you the laser is very effective and the technician is VERY thorough and gets all the spots. 10/10 if you want results and hair reduction give this a try I would recommend to everyone!!
