Laser Aesthetics provides medical assessment and removal options for suitable moles, skin tags, and seborrheic keratoses at our Burlington clinic. These services are provided by Dr. McDonald, an Ontario-licensed family physician with advanced dermatology training.
During your appointment, Dr. McDonald will examine the area, discuss your concern, and determine whether removal at Laser Aesthetics is appropriate or whether further medical assessment is recommended.
Treatment options may include liquid nitrogen or shave excision, depending on the type, size, location, and appearance of the skin growth. Your consultation is designed to help determine the most appropriate next steps for your specific concern.

Skin growths are common, and many are harmless. However, some moles or skin changes may require medical assessment before removal is considered. For this reason, it is important to have moles, skin tags, and other skin growths reviewed by a medically trained professional in a safe, clinical setting.
Please do not attempt to remove moles yourself or have them removed at a salon or spa. Mole removal should only be performed by a medically trained professional in a safe, controlled clinical environment.
Laser Aesthetics does not remove moles on the face or lesions that require further medical investigation before treatment.
The consultation fee for mole removal with Dr. McDonald is $50. Some medically necessary cases may be eligible for OHIP coverage, while cosmetic removals are generally not covered.
